Jeffrey Walker Receives Humanities Research Award

Jeffrey Walker, Professor and Chair, has received the Humanities Research Award, which provides $5,000 per year for research expenses for 2013-15. The award will be used for travel to libraries to examine 14th-15th century manuscripts of a late-Byzantine rhetorical treatise that he is translating, which Walker hopes to publish with commentary. The working title of the project is "The Rhetoric of the Ant: Joseph Rhakendytes' Synopsis of Rhetoric."
