Course Description

Diverse aspects of cinematic reconstruction of the Prague cityscape. Social, political, and broad cultural contexts of Czech film, art, and industry in films of various genres. Class will include viewing a series of selected movies. Taught in English by FAMU faculty member Michal Bregnant. Contact the department for permission to register for this course. Course number may be repeated for credit when the topics vary. May not be used to fufill the foreign language requirement for any degree. Taught in Prague, Czech Republic. Study abroad class meets May 27-July 8.
