Course Description
The objective of this course is advanced studies of Russian language (particularly, phonetics and intonation patterns) through reading, discussion and production of a Russian play. This course focuses on developing conversational skills in Russian through in-depth study of a Russian play. Through reading, discussing and performing the play, the students will have an opportunity to not only learn Russian but also to "live" it. The special emphasis will be made on pronunciation, lexicology and intonation pattern of Russian as they are represented in the play.
