Throat-singing workshop by Eliot Stone

Learn the principals of Tuvan throat singing in this informal workshop given by Eliot Stone, UT graduate and throat singer. This is a remarkable technique for singing
multiple pitches at the same time. No prior experience necessary.

The true story of a blind blues musician's journey to Tuva to compete in a national throat singing competition. This film won the 1999 Sundance Audience Award for a documentary and was also nominated for an Academy Award in 2000 in the Best Documentary Feature category.
