Department of Slavic and Eurasian Studies Welcomes New Faculty Member
Tatiana Kuzmic will teach courses in Serbo-Croatian and Balkan Studies

Tatiana Kuzmic is the new Assistant Professor of Slavic and Balkan Studies in the Department of Slvaic and Eurasian Studies. Kuzmic comes to Austin from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she received her doctoral degree in May 2008.

Bruce E. and Kathleen B. Truitt Russian Studies Scholarship
Application deadline: July 15, 2008

The Truitt Scholarship, with a stipend of $1000 dollars, is available to an incoming or current CREEES graduate student (please note separate application forms). The Truitt Scholarship is granted to students based on an application essay that demonstrates academic merit and describes current research interests within our region.
