SOC 385k • Discrete Multivariate Models

Course Description

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to methods and models for the analysis of categorical data and their applications in social science research. We assume that students have prior exposure to statistical methods such as that covered in course on linear regression (eg SOC385L). In keeping with the applied nature of this course, we will provide examples drawn mainly from sociological research.
