Course Description

The seminar focuses on professional socialization issues - learning how to navigate graduate school and get the most out of your experience; discussing alternative career paths in the population sciences; and discussing some of the "nuts and bolts" building blocks of professional success. The emphasis of the course is on activities that provide practical advice for your successful development as a population scientist.
