Course Description

This is a survey course, presenting an overview of the fundamental concepts and theories of sociology. I emphasize key areas such as gender, race, class, mass media, deviance, etc. while maintaining a focus on central sociological theories. Above all else, my goal in teaching this course is to awaken their sociological imagination.
