AI Course Proposals Due to Dr Michael YoungMay 1, 2008
The department is now accepting course proposals for AI appointments for fall 2008 and spring 2009. As with this academic year, AI's will teach special topic SOC308 courses. These are introductory level courses that can be taught in any substantive area. Proposals may take the form of a course syllabus or a short description of the subject matter to be covered, possible texts, and course requirements (e.g., papers and/or exams). For examples of course descriptions, please consult descriptions for SOC308 listed in this year's undergaduate catalog. The deadline for course proposals is February 22. A hard copy of the proposal should be delivered to Evelyn Porter. We hope to have decisions before the end of March. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Michael Young.
