Kristen is a second year sociology graduate student. She is interested in the intersection of religion, family, and adolescent romantic relationships. She is interested in how adolescents and young adults balance their religious and sexual selves, how these young people learn about sexual expectations both through the family and through a religious lens, and how today's hyper-sexualized culture impacts young people's religious participation and identity with the mediation of family influences.
