Nicholas Szczech

Nicholas Szczech is a doctoral student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Texas at Austin. Nick's primary research interest is gender, sexuality, and the body, centering on the intersections of gender, sexuality, and understandings of the body and embodiment in various social contexts. Nick also has research interests in the sociology of sport, masculinity, and Feminist theory. 

Outside of academia, Nick is a former D1 collegiate distance runner, who still enjoys competitively racing marathons and other road races.
