Professor receives ASA Distinguished Article Award

Professor David Kirk was awarded the 2010 James F Short Jr Distinguished Article Award from the Crime, Law, and Deviance section of the American Sociological Association at the annual conference that took place in Atlanta this year, for his American Sociological Review article, "A Natural Experiment on Residential Change and Recidivism: Lessons from Hurricane Katrina."
