The Ethnography Lab proudly announces:
Funding for Ethnographic Research
Two-page (single-spaced) proposals are now accepted for funding for ethnographic research during the Summer of 2013. Proposals should describe main questions that the study will address and why and how those questions matter. Proposals should also provide location of research, a basic outline of research strategy, and one full paragraph stating why ethnography and/or qualitative research is warranted. In this first round, priority will be given to second and third year students who are planning to conduct preliminary fieldwork for their doctoral dissertations. Funding for travel and/or lodging available. Please include a budget.
Deadline is January 15.
Submit proposals to Evelyn Porter.
A committee of faculty members will decide by February 15.
