Course Description
This course provides information relevant to preparation for the MA Comprehensive / PhD Qualifying and the PhD Comprehensive examinations. Discussion centers on methods of preparation and the nature of departmental expectations. Typically classes include presentations by members of the departmental graduate faculty who explain the general focus of their field of research and its relationship to the departmental examinations.
Grading Policy
This course meets one lecture hour a week and is offered on a credit/no credit basis only.
