Course Description

This course will focus on the most relevant currents and styles in Mexican art of the twentieth century. It is designed to help students understand the relationship between political movements of this period and the role played by literature and visual arts in that context, with particular emphasis on literary analysis. Please note: The professor from Guadalajara teaching this course in the summer is working with the department on developing its content. An updated version of this description will be provided as soon as it becomes available.

Grading Policy

Two tests: 70% One oral presentation: 10% Participation: 10%
