Course Description

This course reviews selections of the literature of Spain from the XVIII century to the present. The works are analyzed in their cultural and historical context. The main pictorial movements and painters, such as Goya and Picasso are studied and related to literature.

Grading Policy

All texts should be read for class following the syllabus. Assistance to class and participation in class discussions is essential. No more than three absences will be allowed.

One mid-term exam, one partial exam, one oral presentation.
