Course Description

The main objectives of this course are: 1) to supply the student with a general knowledge of Spanish business terminology and concepts applicable to an international business environment; 2) to promote an understanding of differences in cultural patterns withing US and Hispanic business settings; and 3) to provide numerous opportunities for students to gain confidence in their oral Spanish skills in a variety of business scenarios. The course is designed to develop listening comprehension and oral skill at an advanced level.

Grading Policy

Test 1 10% Test 2 10% Test 3 15% Vocabulary quizzes 20% Grammar quizzes 10%, Conversaciones 10%, Final project (oral) 10%, Final project (written) 5%, Attendance 5%, and Homework 5%
