Course Description

The primary aim of this course is to analyze in a broad sense the past and the present of Spanish-American women's prose from the twenties to date through extensive readings and explorations of selected contexts. Particular emphasis will be given to these authors: Maria Luisa Bombal, Rosario Castellanos, Elena Garro, Teresa de la Parra, Maria Elena Walsh.

Grading Policy

All students are expected to prepare monthly assignments for the class (50%) and submit a final report (50%)
