Course Description

Intensive analysis of Cervantes' novel. Read the entire text of the Quijote in Spanish; studies chivalry; read some sections of Amadis of Gaul in English.

Grading Policy

TESTS: 2 quizzes (10 % each) 1 Mid-Term with take-home component (20%) one Final Exam (30%) MT, final & quizzes are open-book essay exams, & include translations, brief ID essays. FINAL PAPER: at least 10 pages (2500 words): 30%
