Course Description
The objective of this course is to develop a knowledge of basic Spanish linguistic principles and how they are applied to different aspects of teaching Spanish or bilingual situations. Such aspects include the acquisition of first and second languages, foreign language teaching methodologies, sociocultural variables, a general view of the morphology and grammar of Spanish, and an understanding of the problems encountered by English speakers in learning Spanish.
Grading Policy
Three exams: 55% (125%; 220%; 310%) Paper: 25% Oral Presentation: 5% Discussion and preparation: 15%
