Course Description
The objective of this course is for learners to advance in their ability to express themselves in Spanish at the Advanced level or higher, according to the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines, in different types of discourse. Among these types are the functions of describing, narrating, evaluating, paraphrasing, instructing, reporting, convincing, presenting a point of view, and hypothesizing. The Advanced level is that which one must reach in order to pass the Texas Oral Proficiency Test (TOPT).
