Course Description

This course introduces the student to post-Golden Age Spanish literature. We will read poetry, prose, and drama by well-known authors including Galdós, García Lorca, Unamuno, and more. The student will continue to develop Spanish language skills; will practice writing and speaking about literature; and will become more familiar with the history, culture and literature of modern Spain.

Grading Policy

25% daily quizzes 25% homework and in-class work 25% research project (5-7 page paper, plus presentation, on a selected writer) 25% final exam

Texts

Students will purchase a packet at the copy shop in the Texas Union.
