Course Description
As it is stated by the title of Spanish 327W, the main objective of this class will be the practice and development of advanced writing skills in Spanish. During the semester, we will underpin the ability to write coherent and meaningful essays as a preparation for other tasks involved in the remainder of the major. This course is thus designed to prepare students for writing grammatically correct essays in upper division Spanish classes on Literature, Linguistics, and Culture.
Grading Policy
2 Exams 20 % 4 Compositions (3 pages each) 40 %: Description, Narration, Exposition, Persuasion Research paper (4 pages) 20 % Cuaderno de práctica 10 % Participation 5 % Attendance 5 %
