Lecture by professor Jessica Folkart

Jessica Folkart is Associate Professor of Spanish at Virginia Tech and Vice President of the International Association of Hispanic Women’s Literature and Culture.  She has authored one book, Angles on Otherness in Post-Franco Spain: The Fiction of Cristina Fernández Cubas (2002) and is currently working on a second book, titled Liminal Fiction: The Ends of Spanish Narrative at the Edge of the Millennium.  She has also published numerous articles on the representation of identity in contemporary Spanish narrative.
