15th Colloquium on Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian Literatures and Romance Linguistics
The 15th Colloquium on Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian Literatures and Romance Linguistics will be held April 2, 2005, in joint session with the 2nd FIGS Conference for French and Italian Graduate Students in Linguistics and Literature. This year's colloquium will feature presentations from researchers in the United States as well as several coming from Europe and Brazil.

Ignacio Navarrete, University of California, Berkeley, "La carta de Boscan: From Poem to Lyric"

Time: Registration will begin at 8:15 am. The proceedings will begin at 8:45 am and end at 6:30 pm, with a dinner to follow.
Registration: Please register as soon as possible. If we receive your registration before March 25, the fee will be $20.00. After March 25, the fee will be $25.00. You can download a registration form in MS Word (24K) or PDF format (76K) . (PDF format requires Acrobat Reader, available as a free download from Adobe's website).

Directions from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport:
- Exiting the airport, go West on Highway 71.
- Turn North onto Interstate 35.
- At exit 235A, exit Interstate 35 and go West on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
- As you proceed on MLK Blvd., the University of Texas will on the right (to the North).
- Turn right onto University Avenue. Benedict Hall will be just Northeast of the intersection of University Avenue and 21st Street.
Parking: There is limited street parking on the weekends.

Other Events: On Friday night, April 1, there will be a free informal dinner held at the Gateway Apartment complex, 1618 W 6th Street, Austin, 78703. There is no fee for this dinner, although we ask that you register so that we may reserve the appropriate number of seats.
Following the colloquium on Saturday night, April 2, there will be another dinner. The fee for this dinner, which will be held a location to be announced later, is $15.00. You must also register for this dinner so that we may reserve enough seats.
