For her doctorate she is close to finishing a book comparing the history, politics, and poetics of the Cuban literary journal Orígenes (which had José Lezama Lima, Virgilio Piñera, and Lydia Cabrera as contributors, among others) with those of the legendary Revista Sur from Argentina (which featured Jorge Luis Borges, Adolfo Bioy Casares, and Victoria Ocampo as contributors). | Department of Spanish and Portuguese |
