Professor Stanislav Zimic has published a new book entitled De esto y aquello en las obras de Cervantes (Newark, Delaware: Juan de la Cuesta Hispanic Monographs, 2010). Beautifully edited, this publication is a collection of essays on Cervantes’s work, which were originally written for international conferences or for symposia in honor of distinguished scholars in the field of Hispanic studies. This study includes analysis of Cervantine works such as La Galatea (1585), El Ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha (1605), Novelas ejemplares (1613), El rufián dichoso (1615), Ocho comedias y ocho entremeses nuevos (1615), Los trabajos de Persiles y Segismunda (1617), among others.

Previously, Professor Zimic has published several books on the works of Cervantes, such as El teatro de Cervantes (1992); Las Novelas Ejemplares de Cervantes (1996); Los cuentos y las novelas del Quijote (1998, 2003); and, Cuentos y episodios del Persiles (2005). His book De esto y aquello en Cervantes is composed by several unpublished chapters. These studies aim to make Cervantine topics accessible to a wide audience.
