The Spanish metropolis

Professor Lily Litvak will participate in the project Artistic Representations of Architecture, Urbanism and Metropolitan Neighborhoods in Spanish metropolis. This is an interdisciplinary project that will research and study the artistic interactions in the urban development of diverse Spanish cities from the XVIII century to the present. The Spanish metropolis will be considered as a modern nucleus of artistic culture as perceived in painting, sculpture, film, photography, architecture, and urban development. The project is directed by Professor Miguel Angel Chaves Martín, (Universidad Complutense de Madrid), and a team formed by several faculty member from the Universidad Complutense, Universidad de Zaragoza, Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, and Observatorio Aragonés de Arte en la Esfera Pública.
