East Asian Cinemas Symposium

March 6-7, 2010

The East Asian Cinemas Symposium was a two-day symposium designed to bring together a group of scholars working in the national cinemas of China, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan to discuss the issues surrounding the notion of a “regional cinema.” On Fridays in the weeks leading up to the symposium, a series of free East Asian Film screenings were held on campus.
