A talk by Teng Jimeng, Associate Professor of English at Beijing Foreign Studies University and Professor of Film Studies at Beijing Language and Culture University on February 5, 2013

Teng Jimeng is also a frequent guest speaker with both “China 24” and “Dialogue”, two prime time news/talk shows at China Central Television (CCTV). Professor Teng’s commentary, teaching, and essays, examine the paradoxes of social change in modern and contemporary China. From 1991 to 1997, he served as a consultant to the Palm D’Or winning director, Mr. Chen Kaige, director of “Farewell My Concubine.”
