Biography


Haiqing Xu earned his B.A. in Management (2000), M.S. in Economics (2005) from Peking University, China, and Ph.D in Economics (2011) from the Penn State University. 

Xu's research is in theoretical and applied econometrics. His recent interests have focused on identification and estimation in nonseparable models with discrete endogeneous variables and on large discrete games with asymmetric information. The former applies to policy evaluation and the structrual IO, and the latter to social interactions.
