The 74th annual meeting of the Conference of College Teachers of English

A conference co-sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and the Department of Rhetoric and Writing

This organization of college English teachers from Texas and neighboring states was founded by UT Professor R.H. Griffith in 1933. Faculty and graduate students will read papers on literature, film, popular culture, rhetoric, composition, and technical writing. CCTE also hosts panels on poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction and provides a series of cash awards.

Betty Sue Flowers, Director of the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum, will be the luncheon speaker on March 7.
