Patrick Rosal and Bruce Snider

Old-school b-boy and New Jersey native, Patrick Rosal is the author of My American Kundiman (2006) and Uprock Headspin Scramble and Dive (2003), which won the Asian American Writers' Workshop Members' Choice Award. His work has been published widely in journals and anthologies including North American Review, Pindledyboz, Black Renaissance Noire, Brevity, and the Beacon Best. He has just completed a third collection, Boneshepherds, and is currently at work on the script for a NEH-funded film documentary on post-WWII Guam.

Bruce Snider is the author of The Year We Studied Women, winner of the 2003 Felix Pollak Prize in poetry from the University of Wisconsin Press. His poems have appeared in American Poetry Review, PN Review, Mid-American Review, and Prairie Schooner, among other journals. A former Wallace Stegner Fellow and Jones Lecturer in Poetry at Stanford University, he lives in San Francisco.
