Michael F. Suarez, S.J. is Director of Rare Book School, Professor of English, University Professor, and Honorary Curator of Special Collections at the University of Virginia. A Jesuit priest, he holds four masters degrees (two each in English and theology) and a D.Phil. in English from Oxford.  Along with his many publications, he has also served as co-editor of Making Meaning: "Printers of the Mind" and Other Essays by D. F. McKenzie (2002) and The Oxford Companion to the Book (2010).

The HRC event is co-sponsored by TILTS and will be the capstone event of the 2012-2013 symposia on "The Fate of the Book."
