Free and open to the public.  P.S. Lunchtime Poetry Reading Friday, 19 April 2013 at noon in PAR 312.  A light lunch will be served.

Meg Freitag

Meg Freitag is a first-year poet at the Michener Center for Writers.  She is originally from Maine and has a B.A. in liberal arts from Sarah Lawrence College.

Alen Hamza

Alen Hamza was born in Bosnia-Herzegovina and immigrated ot the United States when he was fifteen.  His work has appeared in Crazyhorse, Harpur Palate, Country Music, and elsewhere.  He is an M.F.A. candidate at the Michener Center for Writers.

Taya Kitaysky

Taya Kitaysky was born in Russia and raised in America.  Schooled at the Interlochen Arts Academy, St. John's College, and the University of Alaska, she is a first-year poet at the Michener Center for Writers.  Her poems and Anna Akhmatova translations have been published or are forthcoming in Narrative Magazine, Poetry International, and others.
