Keene Prize for Literature winner and finalists

The Department of English congratulates Michener Center for Writers graduate student Fiona McFarlane, winner of the 2012 Keene Prize for Literature. Congratulations also to the 2012 Keene Prize finalists: Michener Center for Writers graduate student Corey Miller, MCW graduate Carolina Ebeid, and Corinne Greiner, graduate of The New Writers School in the Department of English.

The Keene Prize for Literature supports the pursuit of great American writing within the context of poetry, drama, fiction, and non-fiction prose. The winner of the Keene Prize receives $50,000, making it one of the world's largest student literary prizes. An additional $50,000 is divided among three finalists.
