Germanic Studies Graduate Research Forum held

Graduate students present original research on topics in interdisciplinary Germanic studies. Presentations are in linguistics and cultural studies. Light refreshments provided. 

In the area of syncrhonic linguistics, M.A. candidate Ryan Dux gives a talk titled "Stealing Isn't the Same in German and English - And Good Language Students Should Know That!" In the area of cultural studies, Ph.D. candidate Amila Becirbegovic presents "Photographic Facticity: Bosnian Atrocity Formats Through the Lens of Holocaust Frames." Co-sponsored by the Graduate Student Assembly.
