Edgard Sankara, PhD alumnus in French Literature, has a new book published, "Postcolonial Francophone Autobiographies: From Africa to the Antilles"

"Postcolonial Francophone Autobiographies" was recently published by the University of Virginia Press under the Modern Language Initiative. Edgard is currently Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies at the University of Delaware. Congratulations, Edgard!

Former PhD student Sabrina Parent's new book "Poétiques de l'événement" has just been released

We are pleased to announce the publication of Poétiques de l'événement. Claude Simon, Jean Rouaud, Eugène Savitzkaya, Jean Follain, Jacques Réda., authored by former PhD student Sabrina Parent. Sabrina received her PhD in French and Francophone Literature and Culture at UT Austin in 2008 and is currently a Wiener-Anspach Postdoctoral Fellow at Oxford University. The book is published by Classiques Garnier. Congratulations Sabrina!
