Geography Study Abroad Program Now in Buenos Aires

Fri, January 13, 2012

The Geography, Language and Culture summer study abroad program has been moved from Córdoba to Buenos Aires, Argentina.  The program still runs from May 23 to July 5, 2012.

The deadline for applications to the program (and associated Liberal Arts fellowships) has been extended to February 15.

In addition to the Geography of South America course taught by Professor Knapp (GRG 323K/ LAS 330), students take a second course in language or culture taught by faculty in Argentina. Students will have the opportunity to study urban change in one of the world's most exciting and dynamic cities, as well as studying issues of agriculture, culture, development, and the environment.

Students will live with local families and have a wide range of activities and extracurricular options.  For more information, prospective students should contact the Study Abroad Office or Professor Knapp.
