Rosenstrasse
Rosenstrasse

Hannah, a Jewish-American, travels to Germany to find out about her mother’s childhood in Nazi-Germany. The story she discovers includes the events at the Rosenstraße: In 1943 Nazi-Germany, Jewish husbands of non-Jewish women were arrested. These arrests led to the non-violent protests of the women, who peacefully urged for the release of their husbands.
