Texas Parents' Weekend 2005

Have dinner with the Dean, faculty, students and other parents on Friday night and go to mini-classes on Saturday.

This is a parent's chance to be a student for the day and talk to their children's professors and go to a lecture together. Several of the History Department's distinguished teaching faculty will be giving lectures. Dr. G. Howard Miller will give a lecture on "Jesus in American Culture;" Dr. George Forgie will give a lecture on "Was Secession Constitutional?;" and Dr. Janet Davis will lecture on "Circus Day, U.S.A., Circa 1900.
