Institute's 2008-09 Doctoral Research Grant Recipients Announced

Institute for Historical Studies Created IHS to serve as part of UT President William Powers Jr.'s initiative The Institute for Historical Studies is one part of university President William Powers Jr.'s initiative to make UT-Austin the leading public university in the nation. The History Department has also significantly increased funding for graduate students to offer nationally competitive stipend packages and plans to hire eight additional senior faculty. |
