Panel discussion moderated by Dr. Noel Busch-Armendariz, Professor, Associate Dean for Research, and Director, Institute on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, UT-Austin School of Social Work

Dr. Busch-Armendariz's work focuses on interpersonal violenece, refugees, victims of human trafficking and asylees, and international social work.

Panelists:

Dr. Bruce Kellison, Associate Director of the Bureau of Business Research at the IC2 (Innovation, Creativity, Capital) Institute, UT-Austin; Editor, Texas Business Review

Dr. Kellison is responsible for strategic planning and research for the Bureau. He contributed to a study of access to and funding for programs for sexual assault survivors in Texas. Dr. Busch-Armendariz was principal investigator for the study, "Non-Report Sexual Assault Evidence Program: Forging New Victim-Centered Practices in Texas." Shelton Green, Founder and CEO, Good & Fair Clothing, Austin

Mr. Green founded Good & Fair in response to his frustration with the conditions under which much clothing is produced. Read an interview with him here.

 Sulamita Mora, Case Worker, Refugee Services of Texas, Austin

Ms. Mora received her MSSW from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker, and has been with Refugee Services of Texas for one and a half years. She serves as a trainer in Human Trafficking 101, a program designed to help identify human trafficking. She also has experience working at a children's malnutrition center in Guatemala.
