The National Theatre of Scotland: 'Black Watch'
Austin Chronicle has selected The National Theatre of Scotland: 'Black Watch' as their top theater piece for 2011. Following it at number seven was another Texas Performing Arts production, 'Rappahannock County'.
The Humanities Institute co-sponsored 'Black Watch' as part of our 2010 - 2011 Cline Professor, Lawrence Wright's visit. In the fall of 2011 the HI co-sponsored the 'Rappahannock County' production as part of a series of campus and community engagement events with the Texas Performing Arts.
Congratulations to all who helped make the productions a success!
