Humanities Institute Affiliate Alex Wettlauer Wins Guggenheim Fellowship

Plan II Associate Directors and Humanities Affiliate Alex Wettlauer has won the Guggenheim Fellowship for the work on her manuscript Reading George: Sand, Eliot, and the Novel in France and Britain, 1830–1900.
The Guggenheim Fellowships are intended for men and women who have already demonstrated exceptional capacity for productive scholarship or exceptional creative ability in the arts.
