Course Description

This course assesses the significance of the past sixty years of development change in Latin America in the light of contemporary understandings of the process of development, with particular attention to problems of agricultural development, industrial development, human resource development, external economic relations, and the evolving policy framework. Changes in Latin American development thought will all be reviewed.
