Course Description
The primary aim of this course is to analyze in a broad sense the past and the present of Spanish-American women's prose from the twenties to date through extensive readings and explorations of selected contexts. Particular emphasis will be given to these authors: Maria Luisa Bombal, Rosario Castellanos, Elena Garro, Teresa de la Parra, Maria Elena Walsh. Class discussions will be encouraged as the working method.
Grading Policy
All students are expected to prepare monthly assignments for the class (50%) and submit a final report (50%)
