We will explore two related questions. Did Mexico have a revolution? If so, what kind? Lectures, discussions, and videos. Discussions focus on the major historical theories of revolution, especially the recent work of sociologist Theda Skocpol and on the separate cases of social revolution, populism, and counter-revolution.
