Cookbook author and food historian Diana Kennedy has been decorated with the Order of the Aztec Eagle, the highest honor bestowed upon foreingers by the Mexican government. She spends much of her time stuying the cuisine of Mexico in Michoacán. Reception to follow. Free and open to the public.
