Symposium: "Disaster in Context: A Symposium on Haiti"

Haiti goes completely off the radar in media until an environmental or political disaster occurs.  The objective of this event is to give historical and political context to the current situation in order to understand how challenges facing the country previous to the earthquake compound aid, development, and social justice in its wake.
